This code of conduct has been designed as a guideline for businesses to offer appropriate conduct and the highest standard of service and behaviour both as organisations and by their staff. It is a condition of The Community Traders policy that all members adhere to the standards set out in this code of business practice. The code stipulates the minimum standards which should apply to business practices in the UK.
Our aim is to promote the many honest and reliable businesses and traders that we have in our country and to make it easier for consumers to find a trusted trader to work with. When you become a Trusted Trader your name will appear on our website and be listed as one of our trusted members.
By joining the scheme, you are making a positive commitment to trade legally and follow the good practice requirements in this code of practice.
